"After being part of Phantom since 2021, I think it’s finally time for me to step away for a while. Being here this long definitely makes me feel like one of the OGs, and it’s honestly hard to put into words how much this community has meant to me over the years. For now, I’m going to take everything I’ve learned here and focus on trading, journaling, backtesting, and most importantly, implementing it all day in, day out as I have been doing. I may find my way back to Phantom in the future, but for now I feel like it’s time to take what this community has given me and build on it on my own. "Hey everyone. I just want to take a minute to acknowledge a few different things. First and foremost I joined phantom just over a year ago and I can honestly say that in the last year of persistent effort accompanied by top-tier education and community I’ve gone from a laid off electrician at the age of 30 to a funded leaderboard trader with FTMO. I’ve also gone ahead and scaled my own business which dove heavily into 6 figure revenue in the same field. The reason I’m making mention of this is because this was only possible with two things, persistence & phantom. I’ve taken the last 4 weeks to reflect on my year and have concluded that in order for me to be among the top traders in the industry, I NEED phantom. "If you feel the need to message someone saying "I'm X% in drawdown and I don't know what to do about it" - be honest and realize you were probably not ready for funding in the first place. Back yourself 100% before you jump into funding - if you had real investors that you had to report to and you pulled that shit, they would be at you so quickly you wouldn't know what hit you. This is why real capital is difficult to acquire if you don't have a track record; investors will laugh you out of the room - the prop challenges are your track record so be smart about building it. Be professional and don't take funding prop firms for granted or view them as lessor ways to gain funding. Take it seriously and reap the benefits. Trading is a business at the end of the day. If you can be honest and true with yourself and answer the above agreeing that you have done a few trial accounts and been able to perform on that, you have a trading plan you understand and are confident in and you are realistic about what you are setting out to do then do the challenge and begin the process of being funded. If any of these are a no then DO NOT TAKE A CHALLENGE. Forex and funded accounts aren't going anywhere so there is no rush whatsoever to do it. This might be a bit sobering for some to hear but it needs to be said. I'd rather see people methodically work towards funding taking 3-5 months rather than push funding like most other mentors so that they can market it *(Hey 60% of my community is funded - but the harsh reality is that it may be true but of that 60% the vast majority will NEVER see a payout because they rushed the process due to an emphasis on funding urgency and a lack of support from their mentor)*. I want our community to be consistently profitable and funded rather than funded and burned. Therefore approach funding when you are fully ready - both emotionally and logically on and off the charts!"

As you can see in the picture below look at how many failures/repeats I had, and this doesn't even account for my previous failed challenges and 8 full years of failures and losing money trading. "Hi guys hope you’re all having a solid Boxing Day and have had a great Xmas! Guys I’m seeing so many mad posts about ftmo just wanted to say please please ensure you are fully prepared and have a plan in place and confidence with in the strategy before flying into investment capital, there is absolutely no rush to gain it success is a journey and as much as you can easily place 1 trade and pass ftmo you have to ask yourself have you got a solid plan and mindset for when things may go wrong? You want to be in this game for longevity not for a quick side hustle... Last thing you want is to gain capital and then loose it because you wasn’t prepared, imagine you had £1,000,000 in personal funds would you be trading it so aggressive and wild? Every day trying to make a few % even around Xmas or would you have a break refine re tweak and get ready for a new year, I only say this because I’m receiving a few messaging from people struggling been in DD or having Phscology battles with time limits I’m also seeing more an more people rush it and do crazy things that’s not what it’s about, treat it as a business it takes years for successful businesses to take off and do well, don’t rush for the sake of it go at your pace, understand everything about the strategy before you and how to utilise it to become consistent no matter what! Have a high probability trade set up you will place over an over that you no will make you profitable if you follow it, cut out the noise, and just take your time.... I only say this because I care I want to see everyone succeed as does the entire let’s get prepared for a MASSIVE 2021 ❤️"

"Hey everyone! Joined phantom 6 days ago after being in some smart money stuff for the past couple of months. This past weekend, I binge watched videos and backtested 200 trades on the minutes time frame and forward tested 200 trades on the seconds time frame.
